On the outskirts of the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds
On the outskirts of the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty is Humberside Airport. It straddles three counties within Lincolnshire along with the nearby East Riding of Yorkshire county, just over the iconic Humber Bridge.
In the heart of Lincolnshire is the county’s only city, Lincoln (see picture). It’s famed for its magnificent cathedral, boutiques, cafes and tourist shops within the city walls of Bailgate.
East of Lincoln is the Georgian town of Louth in the Lincolnshire Wolds. On the coast are the traditional seaside towns of Skegness and Cleethorpes, along with the maritime town of Grimsby.
